In-Character Information
Name:
Loki (Vaetkisson)
Series: Marvel/Avengers movieverse

(AU where both he and Thor fell off the Bifrost. Not much changed other than that, but the difference creates minor changes in character outlook compared to how he would have been in canon. Very minor.)

Canon-Point: Post-Thor, pre-Avengers.
History: http://marvel-movies.wikia.com/wiki/Loki_Laufeyson Only difference from canon is, as stated, that both he and Thor fell at the end of Thor.

During the time since that, Loki has been shielding both himself and Thor from Heimdall's eyes, just to get on Thor's nerves and also so as a way of hurting Odin, as he knows that while he might question how much worth he has in his adoptive father's eyes, Thor was always the favoured child, and of losing either of them, that would hurt the most. They've been sticking together - Thor because he doesn't want to lose sight of Loki, Loki because if he strayed too far for too long, the magic that shielded Thor from Heimdall would weaken, and then stop working.

Being stuck with his brother isn't something he enjoyed; he'd say he would have preferred to have fallen alone, so that he wasn't constantly watched over and looking over his shoulder, unable to plan ahead properly, but while those reasons are true, his statement isn't. Although he would not admit (even to himself) it, he did draw some comfort from the fact that someone else was there with him who did not want his destruction, and with time he began to grow used to Thor's presence again... albeit grudgingly.

I'm also taking a few things from Norse mythology, such as that Sleipnir, Fenrir, Jormungandr and Hela are all his children.

Personality: Loki is much the same as he is in canon - that is to say, he has a massive inferiority/superiority complex still. And despite spending time with his brother, their relationship is still rather... volatile.

He went through a childhood of constantly being in his brother's shadow - he became infamous for his talents, which fell outside of the norm for an Asgardian, and while he would be respected for them, they also ostracised him from his peers - leaving him alone more often than not, and provoking him to act up in order to garner attention of any kind, good or bad, from either his brother, his friends, or their father. He was rarely, if ever, loved for who he was by anyone other than his mother (that he could see or notice). Therefore he was constantly, and in a way still is, trying to find ways to make them see him as their equal, rather than someone only good for backing them up with a 'dishonourable' fighting style, and 'magic tricks' that were seen as feminine, and unmanly.

Since the fall, he's torn between desperately trying to still win the favour of his father and be the equal of Thor, and resigning himself to the idea that neither of these things will be possible, resulting in explosions of temper whenever either subject is brought up. He still continues to see himself as a monster ever since he discovered his true heritage as a Frost Giant, and although he sees himself as cast out and unloved by Odin and betrayed and unwanted by Asgard, he also would never wish to align himself and make publicly known his other side.

He is likely to continue plotting and scheming, manipulating any situation to his own advantage and not trusting anyone to help him purely out of the goodness of their heart, always believing them to either have some other reason in mind, or that revelation of his true identity, race and deeds would cause them to turn against him. It's likely he'd want to be able to have a good relationship with others, but does not know how, and believes himself incapable. He is also likely to cause mayhem wherever he goes, no matter whether his magic is reduced or not - he won't see it as cruel, or destructive, merely as 'just a bit of fun'. However, if someone he dislikes is involved, it could potentially get harmful. He is unlikely to see bystanders as important - he is a god, of Asgard, and more than them. This can actually be seen in his personality before he turns, such as in one of the deleted scenes where he plays a prank on a palace servant.

His having fallen with Thor has caused him to be slightly less crazed and likely to lash out indiscriminately.

Powers: In his canon, Loki is capable of using magic. Here, that is limited to short-range teleportation, high durability and strength (yet nothing that would be able to move one of the boulders that require the HM of the same name). He can make copies of himself, yet that's restricted to just two, at most three, and they're just illusions, the same as anything else he creates with his magic.

Due to his Jotunn ancestry/biology he was also resilient to cold, which would translate to his Asgardian form also. As such, I'd like to keep that, as it doesn't affect anything outwardly. However, this also means that he's somewhat more uncomfortable in the summer heat.

He can shapeshift in canon, but here that is reduced to cosmetics only, which only affect him. For instance, hair/skin/eye colour, able to hide bruises etc.

Starter Pokemon:
Emolga. Who gets called Thor.

Text
Ah. I seem to have arrived somewhere... unfamiliar. I assume that there must be at least one person reading this who has been here longer, so I must ask for your... greater experience. Would anyone happen to know what these creatures are? Or, possibly, what to do when one is trying to climb onto your back. Much appreciated.

Third-Person Sample:

There was something wrong here. And it wasn't just the squirrel-creature trying to climb on him as though he were some kind of climbing frame - he was in another realm, and he hadn't been the one to transport him there. And Thor did not have that power. Of the two of them, only he did. Which could only mean that someone, or something, with more power than he possessed had somehow managed to latch on to him without his knowledge.

The squirrel-creature tumbled to the ground in front of him, and looked up as Loki had started to make a displeased sound.

"Mol? Molga!"

...Oh, perfect. The thing was generating static. As if things couldn't get any worse, he now had irony to deal with. Rolling his eyes, he set about investigating his belongings, which had somehow increased as he had slept.

"Thor," he said somewhat bitterly. "I think I'll name you 'Thor'." The creature tilted its head at him, thumping its tail on the ground, releasing a fair amount of static thankfully harmlessly. Loki stared, unimpressed. Yes, the name certainly suited it...
